Optimist Mirror Privacy Policy

Last updated October 23, 2026

Optimist Mirror shows the screen of an FM-1 running the Optimist firmware and lets you manage its projects, presets and backups. This policy explains what the app does with your information: in short, it collects nothing.

Data collected

None. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it does not send any information to its developer or to anyone else.

Bluetooth and USB

The app uses Bluetooth and the USB cable only to talk to your FM-1: to show its screen and to read or write its projects, presets and backups. Nothing it receives leaves your device.

Your files

Backups, presets and other files you export are saved where you choose (for example in Files or iCloud Drive) and are handled by the system, not by the app. Your preset collection is stored only in the app's own storage on your device.

Children

The app collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
